This small multiplayer demo is a code-along following the bookMultiplayer Game Development with Unreal Engine 5 by Marco Secchi. Whilst getting to understand Unreal's Replication System, single player features will sometimes take many extra steps to make sure they are synchronized through network connections.I had a lot of fun debugging and tweaking the gameplay while building it.

Great Sunday board game meetups at Board N Brew Cafe in Edmonton while taking the time to appreciate hidden gems amongst hundreds of products.Human psychology and social science all took place here. Games can be escapist for tough realities but it’s not limited to that. It has potential to help us better prepared for what’s coming next emotionally.It’s a difficult time but you are not alone.

There was a saying in the game industry you will circle back and forth with the same group of people. People were terrified to speak up when treated badly. I've seen people saying we need to do better but when it came to them they were still doing the same thing over and over again.It's a false assumption, the United States boasts the most video game developers in the world currently, with 268,698 video game employees as of 2023 and revenue of approximately $54.9 billion USD. Canada and European nations also feature large numbers of game developers. Not counting the ones from the other countries.What should we do here?Knowing that we all have vast choices to move on, it's a big, big world and you always have choices. Please keep that in mind when fear dominates your thoughts. Try to advocate yourselves when need to.What does it have to do with work?We as human beings have only limited amount of energy and focus. The less we spent on combating uncertainty of our future, the more can be allocated to work on the games we deeply care about.I care deeply, and I can see you do too. Let's start by acknowledging it.
