We are the Miracles from Pega Team: Jeff Bennett, Kimberly Hawkins, Judy Buchholz, Randy M. and Scott Holz.Back in January of this year, we set out on a mission to devote time to a very special cause both through volunteering and raising money to support the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals.The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals was founded more than 40 years ago with the vision to Change Kids’ Health, Change the Future. Contributions benefit local member hospitals to fund what’s needed most, like critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays, and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services.Together, we can change kids’ health. AI and Creative Inspiration. I must say, I am very impressed with how #Pega Blueprint and other Generative AI tools have been able to help accelerate incredible business outcomes. But I am also concerned with the reliance of embracing these bridge tools for all that we do as humans. Optics used during the Renaissance period could be considered a form of AI. It allowed artists to use projected images to create more "realistic" paintings. It was questioned and criticized by many people at the time and still today.Today we have web tools like ChatGPT that can write books and poetry. And Playground AI that can create incredible art and photographs by scanning vast stores of data on the Internet.I think Leonardo da Vinci would be sad about all of this. He, of course, dreamed of a day where all knowledge could be stored in a centralized library (The Internet) and be accessed by everyone. I don't believe he would have enjoyed the massive plagiarism of artistic works however.And while the Internet has been a great achievement, like all great achievements, it must be refined.I am an artist, oil painter, photographer, videographer, and versatilist. The painting I am posting here is an original work of art (an oil painting). I did not use a photograph, I did not set up my easel at the river's edge... It is my depiction of the AuSable River in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. It is from the mind's eye. And that is something AI can never do.#KeepGoing #Inspiration #HumanKind

Well, what can I say... That's a wrap! PegaWorld iNspire 2024 is over. That is, the event is over, but the incredible #outcomes are just beginning. Enduring memories with colleagues, friends, clients, and business partners were created at one of the best PWs ever.The one thing I can say about being back "in-person" again this year... We definitely set a record for the number of #smiles that were generated. Something I believe the #AI #robots still can't do.
