Where is it 6 month lock in? These are the cashback amounts and you get 6 months at special rates on most superloop plans.
webkit on 30/06/2024 - 16:38
Yeah, the 6 months is just for the introductory pricing offer.
jchili on 30/06/2024 - 10:00
Shopback upsized cashbacks usually goes much higher; 109 & 99 and you get maximum cashback regardless of the plan. I don't see any bargain here.
tonester on 30/06/2024 - 10:15
currently $63 - when was it higher direct?
Harsh Deep on 30/06/2024 - 11:16
search on Ozbargain, you might see someone posted.
hardik1us on 30/06/2024 - 12:17
Not from shopback but from econnex which expired on 28th for 100 cashback….

Econnex are a con. This is much better
jchili on 30/06/2024 - 14:29
@clx: I've read some of the negative reviews on here before, but I've been signing up through Econnex for a few years now and have had no problems. Though I still take precautions by using subaddressing when signing up, so I would know if they sold my info.
OMGJL on 30/06/2024 - 20:33
@jchili: Could you please share how to subaddressing?
like if you live in 10 john street, abcSuburb, you just sub it as unit1 10 john street?
wouldn't that invalid NBN address?
or there's a more clever way of doing this?
jchili on 30/06/2024 - 20:38
OMGJL on 30/06/2024 - 21:40
@jchili: I thought you meant physical address..
With CR/SB though is that they might have your CR/SB signup email too.
clx on 01/07/2024 - 01:30
@jchili: For me it was the fact that me and countless others signing up via Econnex through SB/CR has their cashbacks rejected without explanation.
jchili on 30/06/2024 - 14:30
It was $99 just a few days ago. They go $99 and $109 a few times a month.
CVonC on 30/06/2024 - 13:10
My $99 from May didn't track and they rejected my claim ffs.

Signed up via ShopBack a few months ago. I love Superloop/exetel. Very happy with their speed. Shame we need to keep switching to get a decent speed at a cheaper price.
jchili on 30/06/2024 - 14:35
Same here. I usually switch between Superloop and Exetel, but Exetel no longer has any cashback partnerships.
tonester on 30/06/2024 - 10:12
$65 Cashback with $69/Month Family NBN 100/20
best value nbn deal now given possibly no cashback with Optus Flybuys, and Pronto 50/20 no longer $49?
tonester on 01/07/2024 - 00:26
ended up switching electricity to AGL for $150 credit, $100 Mastercard, NBN 100/20 $59

So basically you have to notice them on the day you join if you intend to use it for 1 month only?
Crownanchor on 30/06/2024 - 11:03

According to someone on ozbargain, you can goto the TiO and put in a complaint about the 30 day nonsense. It is annoying to do, but if enough people do this maybe they can get rid of this silly 30 day notice nonsense, given that they will reverse the 30 days and have to pay a fee to the TIO for the complaint.

I just call them and nicely explain that I am not aware I needed to give notice. I mentioned that I typically switch between Superloop and another provider without needing to give notice before. Ask if it is a new procedure, even though you know the answer to it, and ask what they could do to assist. They will sort it out.
I did the same thing with Exetel. But now, I just put the bloody date on my calendar.

I tried this with Superloop went I left them and the customer support person was incredibly rude and refused to do anything, she even locked my account so I couldn't even print out any previous invoices/information. Scummy company, wouldn't recommend.
jchili on 30/06/2024 - 20:45
@reptilescorpio: Sorry to hear that, mate. I believe Superloop outsources their customer support from India. It's strange they took it personally. You should have copies of those invoices in your email, though.

I remember read somewhere if you churn to other provider you don't have to give a month notice. Only when you are terminate the service. But this is from exetel.
I am currently with Exetel can still churn to super loop?
Crownanchor on 30/06/2024 - 12:31
Not sure about that, but it may also be dependent on the nbn technology you have as you can have more than one connection on a fttp connection and its not a churn process.
Remember that the aim of the 30 days notice is to make more profit, so they will try to implement it wherever they can. Another feature of the 30 day notice is that it may prevent you from limited time specials such as this cashback deal.
jchili on 30/06/2024 - 14:40
Sure you can.

Still have to provide Superloop with 30 days’ notice.
danzha on 30/06/2024 - 17:14
Yes just left Exetel and was expecting to have to serve this 30 day period but pleasingly the customer service rep on the phone let my end of cycle date be the disconnection date, saving me about two weeks, so seems like there's a degree of discretion.

I am on $89 on leaptel 1000/50 should I switch to this one to have better speed on connecting Asian web

Anyone know minimum number of days you have to keep internet active for cashback?
homebrandjesus on 30/06/2024 - 13:04
Good luck getting cashback from TopCashback.
If for some reason it doesn’t track, you’re screwed. The “missing claim” process doesn’t work and they don’t appear to have actual customer support staff to help. Avoid.

Hi. What exactly do you mean when you say the missing claim process doesn't work? Once you lodge a claim you immediately receive an acknowledgment response via email, then we wait until the merchant responds to the claim. At that time we either approve it, decline it, or reach back out to you for more information (based on the merchant’s findings). And we definitely do have support staff. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me directly via this channel. All the best.
flashi007 on 30/06/2024 - 14:44
tightarse - didn't you used to represent Cashrewards? I seem to remember there was valued community member who was associated with that group

@tightarse: I was a Superloop ( myreplublic transfer ) customer before (23) and does that mean i am ineligible?
homebrandjesus on 30/06/2024 - 21:52
My claim is stuck at “Waiting for TopCashback” status. There was no email confirmation. I’ve left multiple messages on the claim ticket asking what I need to do to progress the ticket - no response.
I’ll send you pm, if you could help that would be great.

Just signed up. Will let you know if it tracks properly.
ChatPTG on 30/06/2024 - 14:31
First snag. Don't use direct debit, I'm FTTP and expected the order to go straight through. You can still pay manually to avoid the surcharge but CC details allow the order to be instant.
Jeeyang on 30/06/2024 - 15:13
Why don't use direct debit?
ChatPTG on 30/06/2024 - 15:18

If you put credit card details on the signup application and are on FTTP, it will go straight through. If you use direct debit, it holds for 2-3 business days. I was trying to get it to churn over today.
Jeeyang on 30/06/2024 - 15:24
+1
@ChatPTG: Thanks. Then I can use direct debit because I don't need it instantly.
Brick50 on 30/06/2024 - 16:27
@ChatPTG: With direct debit did it request your identity to do a credit check? I heard superloop does a credit check, I signed up with CC and it didn't ask me to verify licence/passport etc.
Curious if you need to provide that info if paying via direct debit
ChatPTG on 30/06/2024 - 16:55
@Brick50: Not yet but maybe I will get something tomorrow.

I am with More 50/10, and I decided to switch to Superloop’s 100/20 plan.
I paid More, but now with Superloop, I pay for more internet speed and value!
Or
I paid More. Now I pay for more.
seniordoc on 30/06/2024 - 15:07
Unfortunately I just joined Scoop4 days ago, with the code finder40 for 250/25. Unfortunately there is a problem on line using that code, so I called the Scoop CS and He allowed that. Finally I got it with $79/month x 6 months, then 119/month. Do not have any cashback for Topcashback or similar. So far so good. Typical speed at peak hour 230/20.
Much better speed when I access Hong Kong, China and US web sites when compared with More, my last NBN.Maybe this is a better deal than mine if the cashback works.

They assume Opticomm customers are having constant outages so likely don’t need deals.
Worst decision of my life buying land in an Opticomm only estate. Pair that with Superloops abysmal support and I’ve had perhaps 6 weeks of working internet since Feb this year
Be Happy on 30/06/2024 - 17:19
True 😂😂😂
Probably that's why we should be given more discounts to compensate with the outages😜
Building a another house in a new estate and luckily there is no opticomm there. 🙏
indomatic on 30/06/2024 - 17:02
I am moving house in just over a month and wanted to churn over to SL, will it be OK to sign up this early out?
IDontKnowWhyImHere on 30/06/2024 - 17:31
Looks like they charge $5 monthly for static IP but Exetel provides them for free.
evgpek on 30/06/2024 - 17:54
Watch out for their 30 day notice to cancel in the fine print!
indomatic on 30/06/2024 - 19:09
Cashback tracked 15 mins after sign up, good stuff.
sgltech on 30/06/2024 - 23:43
I've also just signed up. A deal too good to refuse - thanks TA. Fingers crossed for a smooth transition.
sgltech on 01/07/2024 - 09:18
It only took 1 hour between submitting the request and when the service became active. I had to do a bit of mucking around, tethering my phone to my laptop to research how to manually configure my existing iiNet router for use with Superloop, to make the changes in the router, and then power cycle several bits of equipment, but the whole process was done in undertwohours.
The 250/25 plan I signed up for showed these speeds at speedtest for a breif time, then the speed reverted back to 100/25
This morning, I boosted to 1000/50, and the speed at speedtest was 926.62 Mbps for a breif period of time, but then the speed reverted back to 100/25 again, despite the boost display as active in my Superloop 'Superhub'.
I'm not sure if this is new connection teething, or a sign of things to come… Fingers crossed.Crownanchor on 01/07/2024 - 10:00
So you must have FTTP. Nice speed you have. Which modem are you using?
